Evangelization Committee Meeting
August 20, 2026
Meeting was called to order at 7:09 PM by Father Johnathan.
Father Johnathan led the opening prayer.
The following were in attendance: Father Johnathan, Joann Seltzer, Janet Hauth, Mary Ann Hockman, Monica Morroni-McMahon, Carla Herztberger, and Cindy Slifko.
Joann reviewed the requirements for the Frank Runyeon event. The Altar Rosary Society will provide desserts and veggies for a reception following the Sermon on the Mount. Cindy will take care of the table in the back to sell Frank’s DVDs, etc. Deacon Gene will be the Scribe; Father Johnathan will be the Leader of the Community; and Victoria Spewock will be asked to be the Seamstress.
Millions of Monicas will begin on August 26th. There will be a walk through tomorrow, August 21st. The purpose is to pray people back into the church.
There have been five to six sessions of Theology on Tap.
Joann is working on a networking event.
The following faith events are to be scheduled at each parish: Frank Runyeon at CTK; Forty Hours at Saint Basil the Great; and Parish Mission at Saint Agnes.
Bible Study will resume on September 10th. Cindy will be applying for an educational grant through the Catholic Foundation of Northwest PA for bible study material for January through May 2027.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:48 PM.
